Language as the Ultimate Weapon Why is the Nineteen Eighty-Four novel by George Orwell relevant to a student taking the Programming Language course? In this last entry I’m going to talk about the importance of language, as we can see in the book of 1984, language breaks boundaries and in a society in which there are no ways to talk with others, it limits the power of society, it enables the rise of dictators to power and overall it creates a society that has no opinion in how they are treated, we can take as an example turkey, a nation that nowadays has a "dictator" in power that limits the opinion of his people, he blocks the internet and many ways of communication with the outside world, or going with a more deep example, north Korea, a country which only knows what it's leaders say and have to live obeying everything they say.
